Who ARE DANIELA SOKOLOWSKI & DICUORE?

We are a bespoke fine jewelry studio featuring custom engagement and bridal jewelry, gifts for every occasion, personalized jewelry, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Founded by Romanian-born and breast-cancer survivor Daniela Sokolowski (neé Ursachi), and embracing the bespoke trend, DiCuore offers handcrafted designs that go beyond simple accessories to become cherished heirlooms. All pieces are proudly designed by Daniela herself and crafted locally in the United States by a team of experienced and acclaimed jewelers. With over 14 years of experience in the fine diamond and jewelry industry, Daniela is DiCuore's heart and soul. She is a passionate jeweler who brings a new twist to the traditional custom-making trend: she designs with her customers, bringing their own ideas to life.

 
Just steps from the Diamond District, right on the famous Broadway, we are a must-visit workshop for unique bespoke jewelry.  We invite the wearer into a collaborative and creative process with the designer and the jewelry artisans. All of this is done "Di Cuore" (from within the heart), just as the name of the studio implies.

Apart from being a Jewelry & Diamond Expert, Daniela is passionate about foreign languages and cultures, studying and writing. She speaks several languages and is fully fluent in both Romanian and English. She holds a bachelor's degree in foreign languages from Bucharest, Romania, another degree as a forensic psychologist from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and is on track to earn another master's degree in Law and Society from the City University of New York Graduate Center.  As Daniela says, "knowledge is power, and a busy mind helps you stay young and mentally healthy!" 

As a fun fact, out of all gems, Daniela loves Colombian green emeralds, and emerald green is her favorite color, which she also wore on her wedding day in October 2019 (photographed above).
